Legal Support Intern Wanted
Ukrainian Victims of War Foundation is looking for an energetic, dedicated intern who is keen to help the Foundation to exercise a research of the legal cases in the domain of the unlawful war started in Ukraine.
Legal Support Internship
The Ukrainian Victims of War Foundation is a non-profit Dutch Foundation which represents and protects the interests and human rights of the residents of Ukraine in relation to the war illegally initiated by the Russian Federation on the soil of Ukraine. Foundation may start legal procedures or public actions against offenders and possible direct or indirect investors of the war in Ukraine.
We are looking for a dedicated intern who is keen to help the Foundation to exercise a research of the legal cases in the domain of the unlawful war started in Ukraine.
The internship may be part time or full time. It's a paid internship.

What will be required from the intern
To starts preliminary investigation of the possible cases the Foundation may initiate in the future;
To write reports regarding investigated activities, to prepare the memoranda, case summaries, opinions, legal documents, correspondence, and other documents related to areas of responsibility;
to assist with case development, conducting legal research, possibly using different research tools, internet, legal databases, emails exchange with concerned parties and the Foundation directors board;
To prepare statements necessary for the further development of the possible cases;
Administrational tasks necessary for the Foundation activities;
A constant contact with directors of the Foundation about the actual Foundation’s plans and scheduled event/actions.
Requirements
Legal backgrounds which consist either of the legal studies or legal activities;
Knowledge of different research tools and ability to use them flexibly;
Dedicated attitude to the Foundation’s goals of protecting Ukrainian residents who suffered from illegal Russian invasion;
Fluent English and Ukrainian
Being proactive and well organized person.
What we offer
You will be able to conduct legal research into a broad range of topics impacting international law, human rights, unlawful action of the country aggressor during the war;
You will also will be involved in the research of the regulatory developments on the subject matter areas listed above;
This role will have the option to work a hybrid schedule offering the flexibility to work remotely;
You will have a possibility to work with driven enthusiastic people who are keep to help and support suffered from the war in Ukraine.
Together we may contribute to the Justice establishment in this world, where there is no place for the war, for crimes against human rights and humans life.
